K-12 Prevention Programs

“The Survivor Advocacy Center of the Finger Lakes offers a wide range of nationally recognized, evidence-based prevention education programs for children in grades K-12, at no cost to school districts in Wayne County and the surrounding areas.


Prevention education programs are tailored to grade-level and are intended to teach children and teens the skills they need to form healthy relationships, understand consent, and protect against sexual abuse.


The SACFL’s K-8 programs can be used to fulfill your school’s Erin’s Law requirements.

Care For Kids

Using Curriculum from Prevent Child Abuse Vermont Healthy Relationships Project

6 Sessions; 30-40 minutes/session

An early Childhood Sexual Abuse Prevention Curriculum.
Topics include communication skills, empathy, body parts, developing positive attitudes toward sexuality, and understanding healthy boundaries.

The program, is nationally recognized, evidence based, and fulfills all necessary NYS Erin’s Law requirements for grades UPK-2.
